Overview of the DSE MA Economics Programme
The Master’s in Economics at Delhi School of Economics (DSE) is a two-year full-time program divided into four semesters. Students complete 15 courses during the program, including six core courses and nine electives.

Course Fees, Seats and Hostel Facility

Seats Available: A total of 290 seats are available for MA Economics divided across two categories, with seats distributed as 59 (UR), 21 (SC), 11 (ST), 39 (OBC), and 15 (EWS). For Category 2 only students of the University of Delhi will be considered as per Program Specific Eligibility.

** Course Fees:** Tuition fee is ₹8,883 per semester, with other fees like registration and security deposits, can be around ₹14,500.

**Hostel Facilities & Financial Assistance: ** Hostel and Financial Facilities are provided to the students. Apart from hotel facilities, DSE provides scholarships ranging to ₹10,000.
Eligibilty

** Mathematics Requirement:** Applicants must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level or higher.

** Qualifying Degree:** Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University & Mathematics at 10+2 level OR at least one (01) Course in Mathematics at Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a recognized University, or B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Delhi.

** Provisional Admission:** Admission is provisional until the submission of final official mark sheets of the qualifying degree, no later than 15 September.
