Admission & Application Process
Application process for UoH MA Economics
Apply through CUET-PG : All aspiring candidates must register for the CUET-PG exam through the official website. This is the only mode of entry , and there is no interview process for admission to the M.A. Economics program.
Admission Process for UoH MA Economics
Application Form Submission: Register for CUET-PG through the official NTA website and complete the application form. Entrance Exam: Appear for the CUET-PG exam on the scheduled date. No interview is required for admission. Final Merit List: After CUET-PG results, apply on the UoH portal and wait for the final merit list.
Eligibility Criteria
Submit UoH Application Form: After the CUET-PG results are announced, eligible candidates must complete the UoH application form, providing their CUET-PG scores and other required details for final admission consideration.
Eligibilty
Mathematics Requirement: There is no specific mathematics requirement for admission at UoH. Qualifying Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Economics with at least 50% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks in Economics. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks in any of the allied subjects, such as Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or any of the Social Sciences subjects are also eligible. Seats Available: A total of 75 seats are available for M.A Economics, distributed as 30 (GEN), 20 (OBC), 11 (SC), 6 (ST), with 8 seats reserved for ECL category. Course Fees: Tuition fee is ₹3,725 per semester. Hostel Facilities: The University of hyderabad has 23 hostels that accommodate over 5000 male and female students.
