- Inflation, unemployment, and expectations
- Phillips Curve, adaptive expectations, and rational expectations
- Policy ineffectiveness debate
- Consumption: Keynesian function, Fisher's intertemporal choice
- Life-cycle hypothesis and permanent income hypothesis
- Investment: business fixed investment, residential investment, and inventory investment
